Not all women are as lovely as they appear. Look for signs that she's pretending to love you and leading you on if she's sending you mixed signals.
What do you do when a girl expresses interest in you, dates you, but refuses to call you her boyfriend? Isn't that a significant situation? After all, falling in love is supposed to be a joyful, not a perplexing, experience. But every now and then, you unintentionally fall in love with a girl who appears to be right for you but is completely wrong for you. The key is to recognise the signs that she is leading you on and faking love for you.
Are you in love with a girl who blows hot and cold, who acts like your girlfriend at times and snubs you like you're a nobody at others? You're probably giving your heart to a girl who is just playing with you because she wants to!
Why do some girls simply lead men on?
If you're in a complicated relationship with a girl who acts like your girlfriend but refuses to date you, you're most likely being duped.
Do you ever wonder why a few girls act this way? There are numerous
reasons for this.
It's possible that the girl who's leading you on likes you, but she needs more time to decide whether she really wants to date you. She might just be perplexed right now. Or she's simply not ready for commitment and isn't sure how to tell you.
A few girls may lead a guy on because they want some drama in their lives or because they enjoy attracting a guy's attention. It gives them a better sense of self-esteem.
Also, some people are simply too concerned with the world and what others think, and their happiness is dependent on what others say and think rather than what truly matters to them or what they require.
Whatever the reason, you shouldn't waste your time with a girl who is just playing with you.
1. She has a new texting buddy.
You were once the reason she was glued to her phone, excitedly funny memes and texting back and forth. However, if your partner appears to be on their phone a lot lately, grinning at her screen while remaining discreet, this could indicate that there is someone new in their life who is commanding their attention.
"Infidelity can be built on emotional intimacy," explains Safran. "A new relationship that is not explained and is done in secrecy can set off alarm bells."
Sure, she could be texting her sister or best friend, but if she appears overjoyed about the exchanges that are taking up her time, something is wrong.
2. In front of you, she flirts with other people.
This speaks to larger issues of being attention-starved, having an insatiable ego, and being insecure in general. But, more importantly, if she's at ease batting her eyes at other people in front of you, what does she do when you're not around?
3. She begins pointing her finger in your direction.
If your previously confident girlfriend suddenly becomes paranoid, you should take note. If she snaps at you for seemingly innocuous actions (basically, anything on this list, but in small, completely normal increments), she may be attempting to throw you off her scent. By focusing on your perceived flaws, you'll be less likely to question her about her actual wrongdoing, which is exactly what she wants.
4. She Adds a Password to Her Phone When She Didn't Have One Previously
Have you noticed that she has a 'lock' on her phone that she did not
She may tell you that it's for another reason, but it's still a reason to be suspicious, especially when combined with other factors.
5. She is experiencing unexpected mood swings that she did not
According to one of my female friends, unexplained mood swings can indicate that something is wrong.
If she has mood swings that seem to come out of nowhere, it could be a sign that an external force (another man) is at work in her life.
6. She begins 'working late' or 'going out' more frequently.
Is she 'going out with the girls' or 'working late' more frequently lately?
Sure, it could be unintentional. However, if it is accompanied by other signs, you should exercise caution.
It's possible that you're dealing with a cheating situation.
7. She is no longer as eager to spend time with you.
Both partners in a healthy, functional, loving relationship should be reasonably excited and motivated to spend time together.
If this changes, it could be an indication that things aren't going well.
If she doesn't seem as enthusiastic about lunch dates or movie nights as she used to be, you should be on the lookout for other signs of trouble. It could be a sign that something is wrong.
